Meet Alicia
Author, Entrepreneur & Speaker
Alicia Boemi is an author, entrepreneur, and speaker based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. She is the author of the children's books, THE MAILBOAT DOG and THE SAFETY PATROL DOG, with a poetry chapbook, THE LAKE REMAINS, forthcoming in summer 2026. She is also the owner of two businesses, Izzy Works Media and Lakeside Books.
As the owner of Lakeside Books and Izzy Works Media, Alicia is passionate about creating spaces where stories and community intersect. Her work brings together literature, conversation, and creative business.
Through her “in-conversations” sessions and speaking engagements, Alicia connects with audiences on storytelling, social media, and the power of building meaningful, creative lives.
Alicia is also very embedded within the Lake Geneva community, lending her talent to volunteer with various organizations. Alicia sits on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Lake Geneva Public Library, is Chair of the Promotions Committee for the Lake Geneva Business Improvement District, and is Co-Founder and Co-Chair of Walworth County Rising: 40 Under 40.
Alicia holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University, and a Dual Bachelor's Degree in English Writing and Public Relations from Drake University.
