Alicia Boemi is a poet and author whose work explores the raw, unfiltered depths of human emotion and the connection to the natural world of animals, particularly rescue dogs, and the complicated terrain of love, loss, memory, and grief.

Previously writing under the pen name Antonia Wilde, Alicia is now publishing poetry under her own name. Her debut poetry chapbook, THE LAKE REMAINS, was published by Kelsay Books in June 2026. A deeply personal meditation on the enduring bond between human and animal, the collection explores what remains after losing a beloved “heart dog” and the ways love continues to inhabit the places, memories, and landscapes we leave behind.

Alicia's work has been nominated for Editor’s Choice in the 2026 GenrePunk Awards; her poetry has also appeared in Moss Puppy Magazine, Poetry in Brief (PiB), and through the 30/30 Project of Tupelo Press.

Alicia was appointed Co-Regional VP for the South-Central Region of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets, in which she currently serves.​ She is also currently an MFA candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Texas at El Paso, where she focuses on poetry.
